Anva Polytech reduces its emissions with Enviro’s recovered carbon black

Anva Polytech announced on LinkedIn that they have reduced their emissions by over 1,000,000 kg carbon dioxide equivalents, thanks to the use of Enviro’s recovered carbon black. Anva and Enviro’s long-term collaboration has, among other things, resulted in the delivery of over 175 million chassis plugs and body plugs made of environmentally adapted rubber to Volvo Car Corporation and The Volvo Group.

“By incorporating this eco-friendly rCB in our Climarub material, we have significantly reduced our, and our customers’, carbon footprint. Each kilogram of Enviro’s rCB has a drastically lower footprint than virgin carbon black. This is a major step forward in our commitment to producing sustainable rubber compounds and products,” writes Anva Polytech.

In addition to Volvo Car Corporation and The Volvo Group, Anva Polytech also supplies components made from environmentally enhanced rubber with Enviro’s recovered carbon black to other industries, including seals and gaskets for the international pipe manufacturer Alvenius.
