Enviro continues to grow – welcomes Knutson Åkerberg as new Mechanical Engineer

Knutson Åkerberg takes in December 2022 a leap from consultant to employee as Mechanical Engineer at Enviro. He has over 20 years of experience in product development and design & construction within the machine and product segments, and has previously worked at, among others, Semcon and Sigma Energy & Marine.

“As a consultant at Enviro, I have focused on construction, quality and maintenance and I will continue with that as a permanent employee. This mainly means developing adapted equipment and components that can work together in process flows in future plants”, says Knutson Åkerberg.

Knutson Åkerberg has worked at Enviro as a consultant since autumn 2021. When he got the offer to switch to a permanent position, it was an easy decision.

“It’s a very fun company to be a part of and we’re in an incredibly exciting phase. I worked for several years as a consultant and have seen many companies with the goal of developing more sustainable uses of resources, but where the economy put sticks in the wheel. Enviro’s unique technology together with the fact that both politics and industry realize what needs to be done is a powerful combination, and I look forward to being involved and contributing to the positive development.” says Knutson Åkerberg.

“We know the knowledge and experience Knutson has and that he now becomes a permanent employee is very valuable for the company, not least in connection with future construction of new plants”, says Thomas Sörensson, CEO of Enviro.
